Small Business Opportunity Forum to be held in T or C Oct 9th

Representative Rebecca Dow will host a Small Business Opportunity Forum in Truth or Consequences on October 9th to help small businesses identify opportunities and resources to grow. The forum will be held at 808 Fir Street from 9AM-12PM.

Representatives from the United States Department of Agriculture, New Mexico Economic Development Department, and the New Mexico Finance Authority will be presenting on small business development tools, accessing capital for small businesses, and leveraging federally designated opportunity zones.

Asked for a comment, Representative Dow said of the event, “With over half of Sierra County receiving the federal opportunity zone designation, there is an unprecedented amount of grant/loan funds available for economic investments.  I hope both those seeking investments and those looking to invest learn of all the state and federal opportunities and connect with one another. “

The forum is an abbreviated version of an event hosted by the state and federal agencies and held in Albuquerque. Everyone is welcome, and small business owners and entrepreneurs are urged to attend. Space is extremely limited and pre-registration is encouraged at: https://addmi.com/e/small-business-opportunity-forum-LpQyTO8has0GXXj1Yxa
