Overview:
- Directing and managing protective services (Firefighters, Armed Security Officers, and EMT/Paramedics) and responding to small and large scale incidents
- Create and manage innovative processes and procedures for the world’s first purpose built spaceport
- Build a team to provide emergency management support to major events in Southern New Mexico
- Work with Federal Emergency response agencies as well as with state, local and private sector entities
- Responsible for the oversight and direction of all Fire Protection, Suppression, Security and Emergency Medical Services operations
- Coordinate all Protective Services activities and responsibilities with Federal, State and local emergency management organizations
- Develop, implement, and oversee training programs for all assigned Protective Services personnel
- Responsible for the overall contract budget and cost/schedule control
