A rare crane sighting was reported in Truth or Consequences today — not the bird, but the heavy equipment. Broadway Avenue downtown was briefly slimmed to one lane today while a 70 ton crane from Roadrunner Crane and Rigging of Las Cruces was positioned in front of the future brewery at 410 N Broadway.
Bruce Cosper, the Hillsboro general contractor overseeing the construction of the brewery, said that the crane was needed to place refrigeration equipment on the roof of the building.
