Sierra County and the city of Truth or Consequences will respectively hold public comment forums for residents next month.
Sierra County will hold a series of meetings to hear residents’ concerns relevant to the county’s Comprehensive Plan. Topics of interest include water rights and quality, affordable housing, economic development, and safety. Every citizen is encouraged to attend one or more of the three meetings:
- Tuesday, Feb 7, at 6:30PM at the County Commission chamber in Truth or Consequences, 855 Van Patten.
- Thursday, Feb 9, at 5:30PM at the Hillsboro Community Center.
- Thursday, Feb 16, at 5:30PM at the Winston Community Center.
The T or C City Commission will hold a public forum to meet with area residents in order to hear and discuss concerns prior to the budget planning sessions for the coming year. Everyone is encouraged to attend. Call 894-6673 for more details.
